GMPTE Bus Station

Project Description

GSS were asked to provide a flooring solution for the 10 separate bus stands at Stockport City Centre Bus Station.

The existing rubber floor tiles had become worn and were a potential slip hazard. These tiles were mechanically removed and extensive diamond grinding was carried out to remove the remaining adhesive and underlayment.

A moisture tolerant epoxy primer was applied, followed by a 4mm polyurethane resin grip system. Different coloured aggregates were used to guide people to the correct exits.
