Hambledon Vineyard contacted GSS Flooring to ask them to install a new resin floor system in their new kitchen facility in Hampshire.
After carrying out a full site survey to check the substrate strength and to test for moisture content within the concrete, we specified a 9mm polyurethane resin screed with 100mm high resin coving around the perimeter.
The existing substrate was prepared using diamond bladed floor grinders and then primed with a two-part, epoxy DPM primer.
The resin coving was installed to all the perimeter walls and then the 9mm polyurethane resin screed was laid finishing flush with the base of the cove.
All existing expansion joints were then reinstated to allow for movement from both traffic and thermal expansion and contraction.
