GSS were asked to supply and install a very durable, decorative resin floor specification for a bespoke car garage in Henley.
Once two new electric vehicle turn tables were installed, height deficits within the existing floor slabs required levelling and ramping.
A combination of cement-based, liquid levelling screeds and three-part epoxy screeds and mortars were used to ensure all areas of the L-shaped garage and turn tables aligned together with a smooth transition between finishes.
Epoxy primers were applied prior to a 3mm, self-smoothing epoxy screed. Whilst wet, this was completely covered with a five-colour, decorative PVA flake. This was then sealed with two applications of a matt, slip-resistant polyurethane seal coat.
