Project Description

Jamie Oliver’s company bought this disused record store in Reading to convert it into one of the restaurants in the celebrity chef’s new Italian chain. The existing substrate was so badly damaged we recommended that it was broken out, and a completely new reinforced 100mm concrete installed. The concrete was coloured to the required shade. Then, using the latest HTC diamond polishing equipment, we cut and polished the concrete to expose the bespoke aggregates and achieve a stylish, hard wearing and low maintenance finish.
