Project Description

GSS have been installing flooring systems for Mars for over 15 years. During their recent Christmas shutdown a large area of steel mezzanine floor area needed to be completely renewed.

The old multilayered coatings need to be mechanically stripped off to expose the steel flooring beneath. This was the primed with a two component epoxy metal coating prior to the application of a flexible 3mm epoxy self smoothing screed to cope with movement and vibration of the floor caused by the manufacturing machinery.
