Leaving us with no choice but to use rapid curing polyespartics, allowing us to put two final coats on the aggregated system in a day to return the area back to MACK as quick as possible.
Vacuum assisted HTC diamond grinders removed all contamination, dust and dirt from the original concrete floor, following with a roller applied moisture tolerant primer to seal the and strengthen the substrate.
A flexible, 3mm polyurethane resin was then applied by pin rake and trowel. While the resin was still wet, a 0.8-1.2mm quartz aggregate was broadcast onto the resin to achieve the anti-slip requirement. An application of a coloured, two-part, polyespartic coating was then applied to seal the aggregates.
