GSS complete a new resin flooring installation project over the Christmas period at Luton Airport.
Under a very tight time restriction, the many layers of old paint where removed with HTC diamond grinders. Extensive repairs were carried out to the areas of failed substrate, prior to the application of two coats of epoxy resin primer. Visit our Resin Flooring Preparation page to find out more about this part of the resin flooring process) This was followed by an application of a 3mm, self-smoothing, epoxy resin layer, yellow line markings for walkways and hazard areas and a final application of a matt, slip-resistant, clear polyurethane seal coat.
The total area of 380m2 was completed in five days between Christmas and New Year.
