The final areas of anti-static resin flooring where completed just before Christmas at The British Museums new prestigious storage facilities in Berkshire.

The new concrete substrate was prepared with HTC diamond grinders to achieve the correct bonding key, prior to an application of a DPM resin primer to seal and insulate the slab. A copper grid was applied to the perimeter of the area, starting and terminating at a newly installed earthing point. This was then covered with an application of a carbon based epoxy primer. Two final applications of a carbon-based, high-build epoxy coating were then applied to the total area to achieve a hard wearing, anti-static floor system.
