Resin System:

The owners of a new five-bedroom house in Hampshire wanted a different and modern look throughout their new home. With help from our design team, final colours and finishes were chosen and GSS went to work preparing the new substrate and applying epoxy resin DPM primers throughout the house on both floors.

On the ground floor, a 3mm, self-smoothing polyurethane resin screed was applied through the entrance hall, into the study, WC, lounge and open plan kitchen and dining room. The resin was then sealed with two, UV stable, clear polyurethane seal coats to achieve a seamless, poured floor finish.

The first-floor bathroom and ensuites had
an additional underlayment of a 6mm, soft rubber matting. The resins were poured over the matting to achieve a much softer feel underfoot.

Comfort floors can be installed in many different colours and can also be laid as a “motion Floor”, which is two colours blended together to achieve a completely unique finish.
